The VIP transportthe Grand Prix demands
The Monaco Grand Prix is the most demanding motorsport event in the world — and the most logistically complex. In 2026, the coincidence with the closing of the Cannes Film Festival (May 24) creates unprecedented pressure on all transport options on the French Riviera. Plug-In Cannes is the only serious answer for professionals, VIP guests and families who don't want to deal with the chaos of Grand Prix week.
Our drivers know Monaco with the circuit closed in every detail: the authorised access routes for each hotel, permitted traffic windows, dedicated access to Port Hercule, and the slots to reach the grandstands without waiting. This knowledge is earned on the ground, not from Google Maps — our teams have accompanied 4 editions of the Grand Prix.
Unlike mainstream platforms that multiply their rates by 3 to 4 during the Grand Prix, Plug-In Cannes maintains fixed rates. Complete transparency, no surprises when you step out of the vehicle. Book in advance to guarantee availability — weekend slots are limited.

Your questions abouttransport at the Grand Prix
Everything you need to know to organise your travel during the Monaco Grand Prix 2026.
During the Monaco Grand Prix (May 22–25, 2026), circuit streets are closed and traffic throughout the principality is heavily restricted. The best option is a local VTC chauffeur who knows the authorised access routes for each hotel and district. Mainstream apps charge 3x to 4x their normal rates and drivers don't always know the dedicated access points for luxury establishments during restrictions.
Our fixed rates follow the official Plug-In Cannes pricing grid: Nice Airport → Monaco from €90 (Tesla Model Y — Electric), €110 (Mercedes E-Class — Saloon) and €130 (Mercedes V-Class — Van). Cannes → Monaco from €90 to €130 depending on the vehicle. Half-day disposal (4h) from €350, full day from €600. All rates are all-inclusive with no event surcharge.
Book as soon as you have your tickets or invitations — ideally 3 to 4 weeks before the event. In 2026, the overlap with the end of the Cannes Film Festival (also May 24) makes demand exceptionally high. Availability for the May 22–25, 2026 weekend is limited.
Yes, the grand hotels of Monte-Carlo (Hôtel de Paris, Hermitage, Métropole) maintain vehicle access during the Grand Prix via dedicated service roads. These routes are not shown on mainstream GPS — this is the ground knowledge our drivers have acquired over 4 editions of the Grand Prix.
Port Hercule remains accessible during the Grand Prix for accredited visitors. Vehicle drop-off is at Quai des États-Unis (Fontvieille side). Specify your pontoon number when booking — our drivers adapt the approach to leave you as close as possible to your vessel.
The Cannes–Monaco journey takes 60 to 90 minutes during the Grand Prix (vs 40–55 minutes normally) due to diversions and traffic. Always leave 90 minutes before your appointment. With Plug-In Cannes, our rates remain the same during the GP. Book at least 10 days in advance.
Yes, Monaco–Nice Airport transfer is available after the race. Sunday evening post-Grand Prix, flights depart between 6pm and 10pm and traffic is heavy. Our recommendation: leave Monaco before 4pm for a 6pm flight. Book your return at the same time as your outward journey to guarantee availability.
A point-to-point transfer is a single journey from A to B. A disposal means a chauffeur available to you for a half-day or full day. For the Grand Prix, disposal is recommended if you have multiple trips in the day (arrival, lunch, grandstands, dinner) — your chauffeur adapts to your programme in real time without you having to manage each journey separately.
